Nina Hunter is an artist, illustrator, and founder of Saltaire Art School.

After earning an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland, Nina spent fifteen years building a career in design and illustration, working on prestigious projects for clients including Harrods, Ferrari, and Penguin Random House. She later turned her focus to fine art, creating work that endures and resonates beyond the moment.

Working from her riverside studio, and following several successful exhibitions in 2025 — including two in New York that sold out all available works — Nina now runs her eponymous gallery in her hometown of Saltaire, where she continues to show and develop new paintings.

Hunter’s work explores embodiments of energy, capturing the essence of soft power and the forces that shape our presence, identity, and beliefs.
